WITH THE LAUNCH of the iPhone 5 now just a day away, rumours are rampant as to just what it will look like and what it will feature.

Such is the anticipation, the experts at Giga Netzwerk have gone as far as to produce their own prototype based on leaked hints, hardware components and computer designs.

The iPhone 5 is expected to be unveiled at a launch hosted by new CEO Tim Cook in California tomorrow.

The mock-up by Giga shows a four-inch screen, ‘teardrop design’ and gives the phone an aluminum back, similar to the iPad 2, with the home button an oval instead of a circular shape.

Giga reckons its prototype is 98 per cent close to what the phone will actually look like. Predictions about just what it will feature include voice recognition software that will be so good you will be able to dictate emails or text messages, according to the Mail.

Other features already predicted are a dual core A5 processor, 1 gigabyte of RAM, 960×540 screen resolution, and an 8 mega-pixel camera.

But for all the predictions, no-one seems to have gone quite as far as to produce a prototype just days before the actual launch:
