FIFA Puskas Award finalist Stephanie Roche opening a new Topaz station. Conor McCabe

Over 100 jobs created at two new service stations in Dublin and Laois

€10 million has been invested in the two sites.

OVER 110 JOBS have been created with the opening of two Topaz service stations in Dublin and Laois.

There are 45 new jobs up for grabs at the Northern Cross station at Clonshaugh in Dublin.

An additional 20 jobs will be created by Supermac’s, who have opened a new family restaurant and drive through, as well as a Papa John’s Pizza restaurant at the station.

Jobs

The new motorway service station in the Ballacolla region in Laois, located at Junction 3 on the M8 Dublin to Cork roadway, is due to open on Monday.

A further 65 jobs will be available at this site.

Former Munster and Ireland star Alan Quinlan and Irish footballer and FIFA Puskas Award finalist Stephanie Roche opened the stations today.

Both sites will provide services to approximately 50,000 motorists using the two motorways each day.

Paul Candon, Group Marketing Director at Topaz said he was delighted with the new stations.

He said Topaz will try their very best “to deliver top quality customer care to the local community and road users travelling through the area”.

Managing Director of Supermac’s Pat McDonagh said the company has received great support from the people of Clonshaugh already.

We are also looking forward to working with Topaz here on site, and are sure that our customers will be very pleased with the choice that is available to them.

Not to mention 2nd hand reconditioned meters that his other company Sierra are trying to rip us off with. Boycott! Boycott! Boycott! and BIFFO at the helm?????? Denis O’Brien and his employees in fine gael spent billions setting up a quango…coincidentally using motor tax…to harvest rain for you, it’d be a shame if all that money went to waste.

Low paid jobs. Wages should start at a minimum of €45,000, and workers should not have to pay: USC, proper tax, water or bin charges. Transport should be supplied to and from work. Workers should also be given the option of retiring at 50. FG/Lab traitors would probably claim the country could not afford this. Tax the rich and we could afford this and much more.

Most rational people know that the wealthy don’t pay tax here because they don’t live here..(winks at Denis)….and the government would have to dip into the pension reserve and taxes to set up a private water company…(winks at Denis)

This will probably annoy people but Denis O’Brien negotiated a write down of the debt before he bought the debt, it was a condition of the sale. This is quite common. The toxicity of the debt was such that a pre – deal write down was inevitable to move the debt. If there had been no write, neither Denis O’Brien nor anyone else, would have bought the associated debt. In that case, the toxicity of the debt would remain relatively unchanged and the debt would remain unpaid.

Now that will be all very confusing for the guys her so I reckon we could just ignore than and make some vague reference to Denis O’Brien being a cartoon villain.

Denis O’Brien has a very cozy relationship with fine gael, we’ll see down the line who buys it for a knockdown price, it’s not like this has not happened before between fg and dob.
