The Guardian's "Three Little Pigs" tops Adweek's best ad list for 2012

The advertisement uses the children’s story to illustrate the evolution of a news story and public engagement in the news.

THE GUARDIAN’S CLEVER “Three Little Pigs” advertisement has been named the best commercial of 2012 by Adweek.

The two minute ad uses the well known children’s story to demonstrate how news stories evolve and how the public now engage with the news through social media.

Adweek described the commercial as “grim yet playful, mythical yet supremely modern, the spot has it all”.
