What I find most disturbing is the conditions that these horses have been reared in. Sold to dodgy traders, kept in sheds or lockups in god knows where. The equine passport system has been corrupted and falsified, and has clearly not worked. Now why should we believe that venison/beef/lamb/pork has been treated any better, is without drug contamination, free from disease, and completely traceable? The entire meat industry is a very sad joke.

No sign of crispy chillie beef for last few weeks, not returned to shelves yet. It was my processed badness weakness. I’m wondering was it crispy chille horse. But you know what, it tasted fab.

They should have just put it all on the reduced shelf for me.
