SIEMENS HAS OFFERED to lend the government money to install up to 1.1m domestic water meters, according to the Irish Times. The company told RTÉ that is wants to meet Minister Brian Lenihan to discuss how private industry could support the water meter scheme as well as other energy saving projects.
