RYANAIR HAS WELCOMED the decision by the High Court to dismiss an injunction brought against it by the company Ticket Generator Ltd.
The Irish Times reported in October that the rail ticket firm claimed Ryanair and its agents had harassed its staff in Terminal 1 in Dublin airport.
Ticket Generator had originally gone into court without Ryanair present on 12 October and secured an interim injunction.
UK-owned company Ticket Generator Ltd sells train tickets for the Stansted and Heathrow Express.
A hearing took place on Thursday 27 October when Ryanair was able to respond to what it described as “the inaccurate claims of Ticket Generator”.
Today Mr Justice MacMenamin dismissed Ticket Generator’s application to continue this injunction.
Ryanair said that it confirmed in court that it did not and would not interfere with Ticket Generator staff.
Ticket Generator was ordered to pay 75% of Ryanair’s costs.
