UPC HAS ADDED two new channels to its listings from today.

RTÉ’s News Now service and TG4′s HD or ‘ardghléine’ channel are now available on the digital television service at no extra cost.

The addition of TG4 HD on channel 137 will allow sports fans to catch the All Ireland Ladies Football Championship final between Cork and Kerry live in high definition this Sunday as well as junior and intermediate finals.

RaboDirect PRO 12 rugby games as well as TG4 favourites like Ros na Rún, Imeall and Cogar will also be available in high definition on the Irish language channel.

While on RTÉ’s News Now, which will be on channel 200, you can catch-up on the latest news bulletins from the State broadcaster as well as current affairs programmes like Prime Time and The Frontline.

“The addition of crystal clear Irish sport and entertainment on TG4 HD and top quality news and current affairs on RTE News Now are sure to prove very popular with Irish audiences,” UPC’s Simon Kelehan claimed.
