Hey good lookin': These photos won't do any harm to Northern Ireland's tourism drive

See the gems from a different perspective.

THE GIANT’S CAUSEWAY, the Carrick-A-Rede rope bridge and the rugged coastline of Northern Ireland have featured strongly in the region’s recent tourism drive.

Members of the Irish Air Corps went on a trip recently to catch the beauty from the skies.

Posting the resulting images, the pilots said, “The cliffs show the scars of the Irish weather and are a testament to how harrowing the Atlantic seas can be. During the Winter months, when the waves grow bigger and the winds blow harder, our maritime crews will still patrol these seas, protecting Ireland’s vital natural resources.

“Until then join the maritime crews in the sunshine as they pass along the beautiful the Northern Donegal, Derry and Antrim coastline, and see their gems from our perspective.”
