Remember MySpace? It's got a new face

The Justin Timberlake-owned site has a new look as it tries to pull itself out of the doldrums.

POP STAR Justin Timberlake snapped it up with Specific Media Group in June 2011 for around $35m – but is MySpace really back?

The social networking site that was popular among music artists and promoters trying to push their wares has a new revamped look.

This will give you an idea of what’s going on:

1 / 10
  • The old MySpace, back in the day

  • The new MySpace clutter-free home page

  • Hovering over 'latest' bar brings you a stream of updates

  • That reminds us of Pinterest's homepage

  • You can scroll up and down or side to side

  • You can share playlists like an elaborate iPad app

  • You can also share your photos

  • It will continue as a home primarily for artists

  • Timberlake is going to reach out to fellow musicians there

  • Remember the top 8 feature? Artists get to promote top fans
