New iPhone could be gold, scratch resistant and have a fingerprint scanner

Apple is reported to be releasing two new iPhones in September – the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C.

A CHINESE WEBSITE is reporting that next month Apple will be announcing the release of not one, but two new iPhones.

The photos, leaked by the website, purporting to be the new iPhone, show that Apple could be breaking from tradition and issuing a new gold coloured phone. Traditionally, Apple iPhones have been either black or white.

High-end and budget

TechCrunch reports that Apple will announce two phones in September, which will include a new high-end model – the updated 5S – and a budget option called the iPhone 5C.

The iPhone 5S will have a dual LED flash designed to improve photos by adding more light to scenes and by making people look more illuminated, reports The Daily Mail, adding that the cheaper iPhone 5C will be scratch resistant, slightly thicker than the 5S and will come in a variety of colours.

Geek.com state there will be an another additional security feature – a fingerprint scanner that will enable you to unlock your phone.

Apple is expected to officially unveil its next-generation handsets at an event on the 10 September.
