NATIONAL IRISH BANK has reported a brief disruption to its internet banking service this morning.
The Danish-owned bank said it had experienced an unspecified technical issue on its systems this morning, the cause of which was “promptly identified” with back-up systems immediately put in plcae.
“Full service across all systems is now being re-established, with most already back up and running,” the bank said in a statement.
“We apologise to customers for any inconvenience caused during this short period.”
A message on the bank’s website advised customers that they may experience some errors when logging into their eBanking accounts, or when trying to create payments, but that the problem was being addressed at present.
