So rather than include Ireland in the list of countries they deliver to (including Afghanistan!) on the marksandspencer.com site where you pay in sterling, they create a new, euro only site to continue to rip off Irish customers. A £55 dress is €75. Xe.com gives £55 as less than €67.50. Even with the VAT differential, M&S are still gouging Irish customers.

There are other things you can’t do on the .ie site such as pay using a M&S gift card, pay using a BoI laser card, arrange delivery to a M&S store. Good to see them finally having a site but I’d give it a D- (could do so much better considering it was a fresh site launch)

They should really open some more stores, not simply for jobs but for people whom like m&s but have to drive 100 Kms plus to get to one.

A fresh site launch, maybe, but the “new” .ie site has stale code from its .fr site.
