Mark Zuckerberg turns 28 today: Here are 8 things you may not know about him

FACEBOOK CEO Mark Zukerberg celebrates turning 28 year old today – and he certainly has a lot to celebrate.

This week, the social network is expected to begin selling stock to the public for the first time, with a potential IPO valuation of $100 billion.

But what about the man the helm of the company? Here are eight things you may not have known about Mark Zuckerberg…

    While at Phillips Exeter Academy, an exclusive preparatory school in New Hampshire, Zuckerberg and a classmate wrote a music programme called Synapse, which analysed users' listening habits and used that information as a base recommendations for further listening. Both AOL and Microsoft showed interest in the programme and reportedly wanted to hire Zuckerberg to develop it - but he refused as it would have meant dropping out of school.
