A CLOUD COMPUTING firm will triple staff numbers at its Dublin office over the next three years creating 90 jobs.
LogMeIn has its EMEA headquarters on Sir John Rogerson’s Quay in Dublin’s docklands and today officially opened an expansion of their base.
Taoiseach Enda Kenny and Jobs Minister Richard Bruton were both present for the formalities.
LogMeIn first came to Ireland in 2012 and currently employs 45 full-time staff here.
The company provides back up storage and file-sharing services for customers and says that 125 million devices worldwide are connected to their service.
Company founder Michael Simon says they want to up their Dublin-based workforce to 135 staff.
Speaking at today’s opening, he added that their expansion is “testament to our recognition of Dublin as one of the best markets in the world for attracting top high-tech talent.”
The company promises that the 90 planned new positions will be in a number of areas including technical sales, marketing, finance, HR and IT.
A number of the positions are currently advertised on LogMeIn’s jobs portal.
