GOOGLE SAID IT is working on a super-fast “quantum” computer chip as part a vision to one day have machines think like humans.
The internet titan added renowned researcher John Martinis and his team at the University of California, Santa Barbara, to the Quantum Artificial Intelligence team atGoogle, according to director of engineering Hartmut Neven.
The new hires are part of a “hardware initiative” to design and build chips operating on sub-atomic levels in ways making them exponentially faster than processors currently used in computers,
“With an integrated hardware group the Quantum AI team will now be able to implement and test new designs,” Neven said of the quest for a transformative new chip.

Last year, Google’s artificial intelligence lab partnered with US space agency NASA on quantum computing research.
The company has also become more focused on related projects such as self-driving cars and robots.

The best answer is to have your user names/passwords in a sealed envelope with a trusted family member member/friend. Of course they change but keeping these documents updated is worth it. The easiest way for me to contact long-distance people after my mother died was through her email account, and about a month after her death I deactivated it. I was also able to access all of her online accounts, bills, and credit cards in order to close everything out.
Of course, doing all that after she died meant that I had full access before she died. But she trusted me. And I trusted her. It helped that I kept copies of my will, backups of all my photos, copies of passports and email addresses and passwords stored in a sealed envelope in a file cabinet at her house. She had full access to my life as well, and never took advantage of that information.
Mutual trust is needed to make this word. But after my mother died suddenly, this trust certainly helped to close her estate in a timely and respectful manner. Important

We all died many years ago many times.. What we are feeling now is just an illusion. Get over it and move on to the next digital wonderland and don’t dwell in the past or the future.
