Examinership

Examinership

This is protection given by the High Court to a company against its creditors for a period of time. It allows the company to continue trading. Examinership is an option to an insolvent company instead of going into liquidation.

Around 640 jobs have been saved as the home improvement retailer’s eight stores across the country remain open but one store has closed with nearly 50 jobs lost.
