TWO COMPANIES WILL create 170 new jobs in the Shannon Free Zone in Co Clare the minister for enterprise, Richard Bruton, announced today.
Zagg International and Cregg Logistics will create the jobs with support from the government at the Shannon Free Zone, an industrial business park in Co Clare.
Zagg which designs design shields and covers for electronic devices such as phones and laptops will create 40 jobs over the next five years at Shannon where they will design, sell and market the products.
The company also said that it expects a total of 300 new jobs to be created over the next four years.
Zagg will work with Cregg Logistics which has been based in Shannon for nearly two decades and will create 130 new jobs over the next two years in manufacturing, assembly and distribution of Zagg products to the European market.
The jobs will be supported by a government grant through Shannon Development with Bruton saying today: “The decision by these two
companies to announce 170 jobs today is a massive vote of confidence in the region and the Irish economy.”
