A GLOBAL HEALTHCARE company that currently employs 66 people at its plant in Dungloe, Donegal, is to hire almost 500 people over the next half-decade.
Randox Teoranta is investing €25 million in its plant in the town, the company has confirmed. The firm is part of global diagnostics group Randox Laboratories.
Minister of State and Donegal TD Joe McHugh has welcomed the announcement, saying it will have benefits for the entire region.
“This commitment to the surrounding communities will act as a new roadmap, allowing us to position the region as a centre of excellence in the fields of engineering and life sciences,” McHugh said.
“The relationship between the third level sectors will be critical to driving forward the ambitious plans here in Dungloe.”
