Great news for the town. And even though, like Paypal/eBay, most roles will be multilingual and labour will have to be imported there should be a knock on for other businesses in the town. A rising tide lifts all boats.

If you listen to some people from Arklow Co. Wicklow, they sound like their from Belfast at times. Someone told me it had a lot to do with randy fishermen from the North having their wicked way with the ladies from Arklow. Dirty bastards!

National pen has been in Dundalk for years now. I don’t think the accent is problem.

They compete by making them outside China. Glad to help.

Huge margin in pens! They bombard businesses with catalogues, cold calls and a free pen with their company name, to remove your company from their marketing list you have to call them.

Jonny, national pen is a factory, its just that they’re so successful with their product line that they need people to deal with customers all over the world. Its more of this sort of employment we need.

It is good to see the IDA involved in creating jobs unlike a similar sounding organisation that was involved in destroying jobs.

Are these real jobs or just part-time? Also, this surely can’t count as manufacturing?! Enda needs to resign.
