A TECHNOLOGY FIRM based in west Dublin has announced it will be creating ten jobs as it expands.
Fort Technologies, which was founded in 2008, produces software to manage cloud computing services for businesses – where data is stored not in a firm’s offices but remotely at a server. The company plans to double its workforce as it looks to expand to Scandinavia, the US and Canada, South Africa and Israel.
The ten jobs will be the areas of software development, engineering, sales and marketing and will be based at the company’s headquarters in Citywest. The positions will be filled by the end of 2012, the company said
Gerry Murray, the firm’s chief executive, said: “From development to commercialisation it has been a whirlwind. We already have 90 service providers on the platform supporting hundreds of end-customers, which I believe demonstrates the truly disruptive innovation that we believe will change the way the market delivers cloud services.”
