A MAN WHO was reported missing from his home near Athy in Co Kildare yesterday has been found safe and well. Liam Lawlor was reported as being missing since Tuesday by Gardaí yesterday afternoon but he has since been located. Authorities have thanked the public for their assistance.

Gardaí found the drugs with an estimated street value of €350,000 during a search operation in Castledermot in Kildare last night.

GARDAÍ IN KILDARE have arrested a man after a drugs raid in Athy. The man, in his 20s, were arrested yesterday evening after a van was stopped and herbal cannabis was seized during a Garda operation at Cardington, Athy, Co. Kildare. The drugs had an estimated street value of €96,000. The man is currently detained under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act, 1996, at Kildare Garda Station.
