APPLE UNVEILED TWO new iPhones in the US today.
This is what Nokia UK had to say about it on Twitter:
The new iPhone 5C will cost just $99 and be available in blue, white, pink, yellow and green.
The other – the iPhone 5S – will be available in grey, silver and gold. To which Nokia responded:
“Real gangsters don’t use gold phones.”

The iPhone 5 was €599, for that you got an all aluminum body and glass around antenna.
For €599 you now get a plastic body with a stainless steel support on the interior.
Less fancy, but more profit.
It was €679 :P
HTC One, Sony Xperia Z1 and LG G2 are a million light years superior to this rubbish, but as ever the iSheep will buy buy buy…

iPhone is in no way rubbish mate, slightly limited system when compared to android is still more than enough for every average person. Then simplicity of use is benefit for most. Give me one serious feature android phones have and iPhone doesn’t…?
i just dont like Android, its crammed and a bit like Windows, too much crap in the way. Less is more. Windows never really understood that.
Expandable memory, widgets, nfc chip, even the ability to browse your files! What have the Romans ever done for us springs to mind.
A 64 bit chip is useless on a phone with a screen that size so it’s useless

- Widgets, wow, really? How could I live without widgets I don;t know. Serious features I said lol.
- NFC? Again, what is that useful for?
- Ability to browse own files? Of course, drop box app or sugarcync and me sorted.
So I repeat question one more time, name one serious feature iPhone is missing and android phone has. Sound of silence :)
Actually what he meant by browsing files, was the actual file software the phone runs, what information the apps have stored.

They all did, everyone copied Apples industrial designs, they can ram on all they like about the parts inside or out, technology bla de bla but the first thing you see i.e. the industrial design, has been fleeced by them all. Heck, sometimes i have to look closely to see if im looking at some toshiba or a macbook pro, they follow the trends. happens within lots of design areas.

yea, ive been using Apple since 1996, long before an iPod, long before an imac or ‘emac’. i remember an ex of mine looking at this G4 tower one day and asks whats that thing? do bear in mind Apples industrial design was way ahead of the pack at this stage and were yet to be heavily copied, but it started to get out of hand around then.
she sat down, wanted to check her emails, she hated it, osx panther i think it was. Her brother hated it, they all hated it. Course now ehem, they all hang off their iPhones this and that. A lot of it i do most certainly agree was ‘its expense’, hating it because of its the technology was just an excuse. Apple and its OS was and still is the best designed user friendly system. Schools were recommended Apple for kids back in the early 90s i remember above all other machines. I will also say that the sad thing and its with many pieces of product mass produced today, the materials just arent the same, the ‘die date’ is getting closer from the day you buy it.

Eugene: well, they’re not going anywhere in a first place. Nokia is still alive and well, Microsoft has money so it can only get better now for slightly troubled Finish company. I doubt they will even change their name, as still people rather buy Nokia phone, than Microsoft phone. Perhaps they will come up with some new name, or mix of both…And MS only bought mobile division of Nokia, so they don’t own whole brand anyway.
Lumias are pretty sleek, great alternative for anyone confused with Android / IOS and also probably best integration with Microsoft office apps / suite (office 365 in cloud gets stronger by day).

Nokia have been recently taken over by Microsoft I think, not that windows is a particularly good OS, but they sure have a shit tonne of money to throw at development.
I’m in no way an Apple fanboy – far from it really – but you have to admire their marketing strategy… bring out a new phone at regular intervals with slightly (on paper at least) better specs than previous model – and if that doesn’t, sell then announce colour covers… Wow, brilliant… :-)
yea im no fan of their strategy in the iphone money spin. i just need the technology to do what i need it to do. i dont even use an iPhone, but an old nokia normal non-smart phone. have an ipad, but the computers and its OS, i chang them every 4 years. thats enough for me.
All other phone manufacturers release more models at more frequent intervals. Theres currently 4 different Galaxy S4 versions available to buy.
Samsung have a RIDICILOUS amount of smartphones on the market, check their offical site but last i remember seeing was 60+ smartphones.
Say what you like! Most people i know have iPhones, the ones that don’t are the ones who can’t afford the phone or the contract, want an iphone. There are people i know who are using the same iPhone for 4 years. There not too many other brands like that.
The best thing about the iphone is not the phone its the operating system, the new models are faster but the old ones work just as good. I don’t think people realise its the software and the apps that makes the iphone the leader of the pack.
Here’s a question, How many people do you know in well paid jobs that have an iphone and not an android?

I’ve got an iphone 4 and i’ve not intention in changing to a new model. The phone is in perfect condition and looks the same as the day i got it. i will be getting the new IOS 7 free so there isn’t a need to change it. as the new stuff in the the 5S will be the same in the 4 apart from the finger scanner and new camera. a friend on mine has a 3s which will not be supported by the new software or the new apps so he will change his after nearly 4 years.

Well I own an old nokia xpressmusic on symbian and im quite happy to have it, it might not have the latest screen or some kind of sensors but one thing i know for sure, my device wont be sending information about me to any server and my privacy is safe (which cant be said about smartphone users these days).

Contrary to previous comments ive also had an iphone 4 and samsung galaxy s2 and iphone was wayyyyy better, much higher build quality, smoother system and apps that work on every version of iOS and every iphone. The problem is that android fanboys never had a handset with iOS in their hands so what they have now (latest android that finally works smooth) we had almost two years ago.
The truth is that Apple is way forward with their iOS and Android is still being developed but its not that far away anymore as it used to be.
