American IT firm to set up in Waterford creating 50 new jobs

The computer firm Mycroft is to set up its new base in Ireland with support from the IDA.

AN AMERICAN IT identity and security solutions provider is to set up in Waterford bringing 50 new jobs to the area.

The Minister for Enterprise Richard Bruton has announced that Mycroft will establish their operations in Waterford with the support of IDA Ireland.

Mycroft has its headquarters in New York with bases in London and Hyderabad in India.

It will use its new Waterford base as a centre for research and development, technical support and developing its products which include solutions for cloud computing.
