300 new jobs at Dublin hedge fund administrator

HedgeServ will add 300 jobs to its Irish workforce of 230, having already hired 150 staff over the last twelve months.

A GLOBAL hedge fund administrator has announced the creation of 300 jobs at its Irish operations.

HedgeServ, which is based on St Stephen’s Green in Dublin, will add the jobs to its Irish workforce which currently stands at 230. The company’s Irish employee base has already increased by 150 people over the last 12 months.

Jobs minister Richard Bruton said the announcement was “great news for Ireland and an excellent vote of confidence in our strengths”.

“Jobs are at the very top of this government’s agenda, and I am determined to do everything possible to achieve the job-creation we so badly need. This means setting highly ambitious targets and undertaking radical change in order to achieve them.”

HedgeServ chairman JIm Kelly said the company’s Dublin growth had exceeded its expectations.

The company currently manages over €95bn of client assets, and has 425 employees worldwide – the majority of them in Dublin, but with others in London, New York, Chicago and the Cayman Islands.
